Growing up in a Greek family, Sydney watched her Yiayia transform everyday meals into moments that brought people together. The kitchen was never just a place to cook; it was where stories were shared, laughter filled the room, and everyone felt welcome.
That same passion followed her into adulthood, whether experimenting with new recipes, hosting friends, or drawing inspiration from the cooking shows she grew up watching. The kitchen became a place of creativity, comfort, and connection.
After moving from Chicago to Charleston, Sydney saw an opportunity to combine her love of food with her love of people. Served by Syd was created to offer more than a meal; it was designed to create relaxed, personalized dining experiences that allow guests to slow down, celebrate, and simply enjoy being together.

Most home and vacation rental kitchens are more than enough. Syd will confirm the essentials during planning, so nothing feels uncertain the day of your gathering.
Yes. Classic and premium tablescape options are available as thoughtful enhancements, from linens and candlelight to florals and place settings. All designed to feel intentional, never staged.
Cocktail pairings are offered as an optional enhancement, curated to complement the courses and the mood of your gathering.
Every experience includes full kitchen cleanup. When Syd leaves, the kitchen is left as she found it, often better.
